Concept Lighting Design
Commissioned in 2012 to submit concept lighting designs for various government technology buildings and urban spaces in the soon to be established New Hunnan District of Shenyang, China.

Lighting Design
The brief was extended to design and recommend street and intersection lighting for the entire New Hunnan District. This involved over 700km of street lighting and more than 1200 intersections.
A feature of the project was being able to devise a template system to accommodate the many variations in road size, styles and combined intersections, all compliant to international standards in road lighting.

Implementation
The project was further extended to include selecting the most suitable lighting technology for the scope of works. This included product development with various local manufacturers to design fitting and poles to suit all the variables.
As a consequence, several new designs in light fixtures and street lighting poles were developed.

Concept Lighting Design
Commissioned in 2013 to create concept lighting designs for over 70 soon to be refurbished traditional buildings in the iconic Shenyang Rd, which once formed part of the ancient city surrounding the Manchurian Qing Dynasty Imperial Palace in Shenyang.

Implementation
The project was further extended to assist in the positioning and selection of suitable light fixtures. This included some project management in the initial refurbishment stage.
This project was formally recognised by the Liaoning government with a design award for excellence.

Refurbishment Works
Due to a variety of circumstances such as a downturn in the economy and the recent COVID-19 pandemic, Corelli has been keeping active in a number of local smaller commercial and residential projects. This includes refurbishment works, design, lighting and project management.
